Season One Β· October 2026 β March 2027
Thereβs something lovely about cooking from a real cookbook. Choosing what to make, turning down the corner of the page, getting something bubbling away in the kitchen β and then, the best bit, sharing it with other people.
Dingle Cookbook Club is a chance to do a bit more of that. Each month, Iβll choose a cookbook and put together a menu from its pages. Youβll pick a dish from the menu, cook it at home and bring it along. Then weβll put the whole lot down on one long table, pull up a chair and eat together β trying each otherβs food, swapping stories and, hopefully, discovering something new along the way.
Over six months, we'll cook from six very different books β some may feel familiar, others might take us somewhere completely new. There'll be new flavours to try, stories behind the food, recipes worth making again and, I'm fairly certain, the odd dish that didn't quite go according to plan.
You don't need to be a brilliant cook. You just need to enjoy food, be curious enough to try something new and like the idea of sitting around a table with other people who do too.
Six books. Six gatherings. One table.
A little more about Season One
Season One will run from October 2026 to March 2027, with the same small group gathering one Thursday each month in Dingle.
There are 10 places, and membership for the full six gatherings is β¬195. Your cookbook and the ingredients for the dish you choose to make aren't included β but I'm working with our local bookshop and library to make getting hold of each month's book as easy as possible.
And the books? They're staying under wraps. I'll reveal them one at a time as we make our way through the season, so there's always a little bit of intrigue about where we're going next. I have all six chosen already β and I'm ridiculously excited about them. Whether I'll manage to keep shtum until each reveal is another matter altogether!
Fancy a place at the table?
If Dingle Cookbook Club sounds like your kind of thing, pop your name and email below and I'll make sure you're among the first to hear when places open. There's no commitment at this stage β you're just putting your hand up to say, yes, I'd like to hear more.
