Dingle Cookbook Club – Season One Membership

Your €195 membership includes all six hosted gatherings at The Gable Hotel in Dingle, the careful selection of each cookbook, a curated menu for every chapter, coordination of the dishes and all club communications throughout the season.

Cookbooks and ingredients are purchased separately. Members are welcome to buy or borrow each book, and Dingle Bookshop and Dingle Library are both supporting the club.

This is a full-season membership rather than six individually bookable evenings. If you need to miss a gathering, please let me know as early as possible so I can adjust the menu. You will, of course, remain part of the club and receive all the updates, but individual missed evenings cannot be refunded and another person cannot attend in your place.

You don’t need to be an experienced cook, and support and guidance will be available throughout.

I will provide allergen information with each recipe. Please tell me about any allergies or dietary requirements before the season begins, and let me know if you change or substitute any ingredients in your dish.

As our food will be prepared in different home kitchens, it may not be possible to safely accommodate serious allergies or guarantee that dishes are completely free from traces of particular allergens. Simple guidance on preparing, transporting and serving food safely will be provided.

Dingle Cookbook Club is organised and hosted by me, Irene Flannery. The Gable Dingle is generously providing our gathering space but is not responsible for food prepared by club members.

If you need to withdraw before the first gathering, please let me know as soon as possible. I will offer the place to the waiting list and, if it can be filled, refund your membership payment less any non-refundable payment-processing charges.

Once the season has begun, membership is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.

If I need to postpone a gathering, I will give everyone as much notice as possible and arrange an alternative date. If a gathering cannot go ahead or be rearranged, the relevant portion of the membership fee will be refunded.
